On Monday, Google declared that it was releasing its first ever Android One device now in Pakistan in partnership with QMobile. The QMobile new product QMobile A1 is now available for sale at retail stores in all over Pakistan, Google’s Asia Pacific Blog disclosed. “Like all Android One smartphones, the QMobile A1 integrates superior quality hardware that’s been first tested by Google itself with the latest version of Android (Lollipop 5.1.1) and all of the latest features that hidden inside it.”
The latest Android phone will be available at cost of 11,500 in rupee and $113, which is more than the $100 price tag with which it is being marketed worldwide. The upcoming Android phone has a long 4.5-inch touch screen, along with a strong and affective 1.3GHz quad core processor, a 5-megapixel back cam with an LED flicker, a 2-megapixel front cam, 1GB RAM and 8GB of built-in memory with dual-SIM functionality. The latest smartphone excellently runs on Android latest version of 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. This launch could prove to be an appreciated addition to the initial stage Android phone all range is now freely available in the market.
Although, this device will have to face creaky rivalry in a huge digital market which has already filled with smartphones for as low as $60, with some of the low-cost production from Qmobile itself. All Android One devices which have low cost, have already been launched in at least seven other countries overall. According to Google, Android One based phones will have Google’s recent Material Design interface, up to double the performance speed with an innovative battery-saving feature.
