FACEBOOK’S STANDALONE APP ALLOWS YOU TO SHARE IMAGES PRIVATELY

Hundreds of Millions people use Facebook for socializing and share their life events, photos with friends worldwide.
By social network’s count, more than 350 million people share their photos everyday but for selfie, user share photos from Instagram and vacation, chances create that dozens of your photos never make cut from your mobile.
Facebook now launch its app for those snaps, called Moments. The app is a latest standalone app from Facebook’s Creative team that is developed to make it easier to share photos privately while not using Facebook.
The Moments app coincide with the photos on your Mobile device. Its users can choose their desired images in order to sync with this app and arranges all photos into album-like friends group based on which friends are in snap or which are not.

Since the Moments app uses the similar facial recognition element as photos shared on the Facebook app, Moments should be clearly capable of recognizing people you know in your photos.
Once you and your photos are synced with this app, you can simply select from your photos which to be shared with friends. Images shared through Moments are private and will not posted on Facebook Timeline.
However, Moments allows you to share your secret photos directly from your camcorder roll, Facebook, Instagram or other.
Moment’s app is mainly focused on sharing images among small group of friends.
Moments could be a great source for backing up your photos by syncing with app.
The app does not have limited storage as your photos can be synced to your account.

Most notably, images saved in Moments are not actually saved in its full image quality. Will Ruben, product manager of Moments said, photos are made perfect by speed and quality so users won’t be able to pull full resolution images from the app but it’s still an easier way to recover images that sometimes lost.
